Description

The perfect sleeping hammock for a power nap at home or in the office to recharge your batteries. This hammock holds the promise of a well-deserved rest with its palette of cool and refreshing hues. It is also suitable as a bed replacement, The Bedhammock is handwoven with cotton yarn and provides excellent body support. It's large enough to sleep diagonally, vertically, or horizontally, making it a versatile option.

Trying something new can be intimidating, but it's worth it. According to sleep researchers, being gently rocked in bed can help healthy adults sleep better, just like babies. This is because it helps them fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply, and wake up less frequently. In addition, scientists have discovered that rocking has a positive impact on brain wave patterns and may even improve memory.

Hammocks can be suitable for those with back pain as they support the entire body, reducing pressure on the spine, butt, and shoulders.

This portable bed requires little space and can be used to take relaxing power naps wherever you are, whether it's in your office or bedroom.

Below are some tips that a client wrote for how he set up his hammock to replace his bed:

The way I decided to achieve this was to:

  1. use 10mm concrete dyna expansion bolts/screws into the concrete wall, to screw a small metal loop (Raumer 45 Degree Hanger 10mm used in rock climbing, such as )
  2. use a rope to tie to the metal hanger, with a knot at the length I needed the hammock to attach at (in my case, I used ticket to the moon nautical ropes, which have knots pretied for easy setup )
  3. use rock climbing carabiners to clip the rope to the hammock

I can unclip the hammock easily for storage during the day.

If I need less sag, I can make the end ropes shorter.

If I want more sag/more banana, I can tie a rope between the two carabiners, directly across the top of the hammock (a ridgeline), and make this rope shorter and shorter, drawing the two ends of the hammock closer together and increasing the sag.

I also found an interesting website that calculates the correct lengths for the amount of sag you want and the distance of your hooks.

 Cheers

Grayson
